It looks like it was salvaged from a 19th-century factory. The C1620 from Ferroluce is a cylinder of glazed ceramic with an aged, flaking finish — the paint intentionally peels away, revealing the clay underneath, with an oval rusted metal plaque with embossed text that gives it the air of an industrial inventory piece. It hangs from a rusted iron link chain with intertwined braided cable, and the matching ceiling rose completes the composition. A lamp that doesn't imitate the past: it embodies it.
